The history of Paradise began in 1967 when grandfather Giuseppe, known as Bepo, and his children decided to build a chalet in the locality Plaghera where an influx of tourists dedicated to alpine skiing began to timidly develop.
In 1969 the enthusiasm for this new activity began to develop. which met with ever greater approval, pushed the young Cola people to close the basement to set up the dining room and kitchen and to enlarge the terrace.
In 1974, the bar was enlarged and some rooms were furnished on the upper floor.
In 1978, with the spread of the passion for skiing among Italians, a large expansion was decided with the construction of a large living room and kitchen on the ground floor and other rooms on the upper floor as well as to transform the small refuge into a real hotel.
After various renovations, extensions, and changes in furnishings, the Paradiso is today a structure that remains at the center of the Santa Caterina Valfurva ski area is reachable by car and is capable of accommodating around a hundred customers in the rooms and around thirty guests in the rooms.
Now the business is is managed by one of "Bepo"'s sons, Armando who, with the precious collaboration of his wife Rosa and his children Daniele and Michela, continues with dedication and cordiality to make the numerous travelers feel like they are in...Paradise.
